TERMS OF THE DISTRICTS MOBILE APP

In force from 21 September 2026

§ 1. General provisions

  1. These Terms set out the rules for using the Districts mobile app available on iOS or Android devices, the Districts websites and the features made available to users in connection with the app.
  2. These Terms are terms of service for the provision of services by electronic means within the meaning of Article 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means.
  3. The Service Provider is Adrian Kominek, a natural person not conducting business activity, running the service under the Districts brand, with the correspondence address ul. Radlińska 31, 44-286 Wodzisław Śląski, Poland. The Service Provider can be contacted at contact@districts.pl.
  4. The address contact@districts.pl is also the contact point for user reports, moderation matters, personal data requests and contact with authorities or entities competent in the area of digital services.
  5. Using the App is voluntary. Before using the App the user should read these Terms and the Privacy policy. Creating an Account, starting to use the App or using features available without signing in means acceptance of these Terms to the extent relevant for a given feature.
  6. The Privacy policy is a separate information document and supplements these Terms with regard to the processing of personal data, location data, motion data, diagnostic data and anti-cheat data.
  7. The App is intended solely for people aged 16 and over, under the rules set out in § 5 of these Terms.

§ 2. Definitions

  1. App means the Districts mobile app available on iOS or Android devices.
  2. Service Provider means Adrian Kominek, running the service under the Districts brand.
  3. User or Player means a natural person using the App, the Website, an Account or other Districts features.
  4. Account means an individual user account in the App that enables gameplay and the features linked to the player profile.
  5. Session means a period of activity recording started by the user with the START button and finished with the STOP button, or closed technically in line with how the App works.
  6. Territory means an area calculated from the user's route and used in the game mechanics.
  7. Districts Zone means an area in the real world designated by the Service Provider in which special scoring or leaderboard mechanics may apply.
  8. Districts Golden Zone means a highlighted Districts Zone in which separate scoring rules or virtual rewards set out in the App may apply.
  9. Mayor means a game element that may appear temporarily in selected zones and allow a scoring bonus to be activated under the rules set out in the App.
  10. DC or Districts Coins means a virtual currency or points that exist solely within the App, have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  11. Chest means a virtual game element assigned to a place on the map that can be obtained solely through gameplay mechanics.
  12. Virtual items mean skins, colours, profile elements, avatar appearance elements, badges, titles, cosmetic bonuses or other digital elements available in the App.
  13. User Content means the nickname, territory names, messages, reports, descriptions, support attachments and other information or material provided by the user in the App or through Districts contact channels.
  14. Website means the Districts websites, in particular https://districts.pl and the subpages related to the app, the privacy policy, the terms and account deletion.
  15. Privacy policy means the document “Districts privacy policy” available in the App and on a dedicated website.

§ 3. Nature of the service and scope of the Terms

  1. Districts is a location based mobile game in which the user physically moves around and the App records the route during a Session started by the user.
  2. The core game mechanic consists in gaining Territories, points, statistics, achievements and virtual elements through the user's physical activity and through interaction with the map and the game mechanics.
  3. The App may provide additional features such as Districts Zones, the Districts Golden Zone, the Mayor, Chests, leaderboards, notifications, social features, messages, support reports and other features described in the App.
  4. These Terms cover the current features of the App and features that may be launched in the future, provided that their use does not require acceptance of separate terms. Paid features, the sale of physical products, contests, the School League, the partner programme, charity campaigns or special events may require separate terms or an annex.
  5. As of the effective date of these Terms the App contains no ads and no paid purchases. If they are introduced, the user will receive appropriate information and, where required, the opportunity to accept additional terms.
  6. The Service Provider may develop the App, change or withdraw individual features, gameplay balance, scoring, thresholds, virtual rewards and the appearance of game elements, subject to the rules set out in these Terms and without infringing the user's acquired rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.

§ 4. Technical requirements and device permissions

  1. Using the App requires a compatible mobile device running iOS or Android, internet access, an active Account and an installed current or supported version of the App.
  2. Correct recording of a Session and capturing Territories requires granting the App access to precise location and ensuring that the device's location features work. Without such access the user can use some features, but cannot run a valid Session.
  3. On iOS the App may use the “Always” location permission to continue a started Session with the screen off or after the App moves to the background. On Android the recording of a Session may run as a foreground service with a visible system notification.
  4. The App may ask for permissions concerning motion and fitness, the pedometer, Apple HealthKit, notifications, local storage and the system file picker, solely to the extent needed for the described features to work.
  5. Withdrawing a system permission may limit or stop a given feature, in particular making it impossible to record a Session correctly, to calculate a Territory, to award points or to deliver notifications.
  6. The user is responsible for the correct operation of their device, operating system, privacy settings, battery settings, internet connection, GPS module, motion sensors and other elements outside the Service Provider's control.
  7. The Service Provider applies technical and organisational measures to protect the App, but using the internet and mobile devices always involves technical risk. The user should protect their device, Account, password, tokens, attachment links and sign-in data.

§ 5. Account, registration and user age

  1. Using the core gameplay requires creating an Account. Registration can take place with an email address and password, a Google account, an Apple ID or another method made available in the App.
  2. When registering with an email address the Service Provider may require confirmation of the address with an activation link or another technical verification mechanism.
  3. A user aged 16 or over may use the App independently, subject to the provisions of civil law concerning minors.
  4. People under the age of 16 may not use the App. If the Service Provider learns that an Account belongs to a person under 16, it may suspend it, ask for an explanation or delete the Account.
  5. One person may hold only one Account. It is prohibited to create multiple Accounts, to use another person's Account, to share an Account with others, to sell an Account, to transfer an Account or to circumvent a block by creating a new Account.
  6. The user should provide data that matches the actual state of affairs and update it where necessary to use the App. The Service Provider is not liable for the consequences of providing untrue, outdated data or data belonging to another person.
  7. The user is responsible for keeping sign-in data confidential and for activity carried out from the Account, unless they prove that it occurred through no fault of their own. Unauthorised access to an Account should be reported to the Service Provider without delay.
  8. The Service Provider does not verify the actual identity of all users. Users should exercise caution when interacting with other people, including when those people appear in the App as friends, followers or participants in the same gameplay.

§ 6. Nickname, profile and user visibility

  1. After creating an Account the user chooses a nickname or another player name. The nickname should have at least 3 characters, unless the App indicates a different minimum technical requirement.
  2. The nickname, avatar, colour, selected profile elements, level, achievements, statistics, leaderboard position, the geometry of captured Territories, part of the gameplay history and publicly published content may be visible to other users in line with the App mechanics.
  3. The email address, the raw GPS trace, the user's precise current position, weight, HealthKit data, anti-cheat data and diagnostic data are not shared with other users as part of a profile or the map.
  4. The shape of a Territory, approximate activity on the map, the leaderboard and visible game elements may nevertheless allow other people to draw conclusions about the area where the user spends time. The user should consider this risk before starting a Session near their home, school, workplace or another sensitive place.
  5. The Service Provider may refuse the use of a nickname, withdraw it, change it, hide it or delete it if it breaches these Terms, the rights of third parties, good practice, user safety or the reputation of Districts, or if it may mislead as to the identity of the user, the Service Provider, a partner or another person.

§ 7. Sessions, location and capturing Territory

  1. The user starts a Session by using the START button or another activity start mechanism provided in the App. A Session is ended with the STOP button or by a technical closure in line with how the App works.
  2. During an active Session the App may record precise GPS location, time, speed, measurement accuracy, distance, activity type, motion data, technical data and other information necessary to calculate the Territory, points, results, validation and gameplay safety.
  3. Outside an active Session the App does not record a continuous route trace. It may, however, process technical data, Account data, profile data, notifications, reports, logs and other data described in the Privacy policy, where this is needed for the App to work.
  4. A Territory is created when, based on technical rules and game mechanics, the App finds that the user's route met the conditions for closing a loop or other conditions for gaining an area. The minimum area of a Territory, calculation accuracy, GPS tolerances and other parameters may follow from the current configuration of the App.
  5. The user acknowledges that the GPS signal and sensor data may be inaccurate, delayed or interrupted by terrain conditions, buildings, device settings, battery saving, lack of internet, operating system limitations, device failure or external factors.
  6. The Service Provider does not guarantee that every activity of the user will be recorded correctly, that every loop will be counted or that every route will be calculated in the way expected by the user, where this is prevented by GPS errors, missing permissions, interruption of the App, abuse or failure to meet technical conditions.
  7. A Territory is not the user's property, a thing, a property right or an asset with monetary value. It is an element of the game state and may be lost, changed, deleted, captured or corrected in line with the App mechanics and these Terms.
  8. Losing a Territory to another user is a normal part of gameplay and does not constitute an error of the App, a sanction or an infringement of the user's rights.

§ 8. Districts Zones, the Golden Zone and the Mayor

  1. The App may contain Districts Zones, that is areas in the real world designated by the Service Provider in which mechanics other than free Territory capture may apply.
  2. In Districts Zones the user may gain points for activity carried out within the boundaries of the zone. The way points are calculated, the activity types, leaderboard periods, virtual rewards and other rules may follow from the information visible in the App.
  3. Districts Zones may include parks, boulevards, squares, recreational areas and other public or generally accessible places. Designating a Zone in the App does not mean that a given place is always accessible, safe, open, free of obstacles, or that the user has the right to enter every part of it.
  4. The user decides independently whether entering a given place is lawful and safe, and should also take into account road, weather and terrain conditions, signs, prohibitions, instructions of public services, venue rules and their own state of health.
  5. The Districts Golden Zone may be designated manually, on a schedule, as part of an event or in another way indicated by the Service Provider. Winning in the Golden Zone may give a title, a badge, points, DC or other virtual benefits.
  6. The Mayor is a game element whose location and rules may change over time. A bonus obtained by interacting with the Mayor is virtual and works only within the limits and the period indicated in the App.
  7. The Service Provider may temporarily switch off a Zone, change its boundaries, leaderboard, scoring rules, the availability of the Mayor or other zone elements, where justified by technical reasons, user safety, map errors, closure of an area, a public event, renovation, an entry ban, abuse or other important reasons.

§ 9. Chests, DC and virtual items

  1. The App may contain Chests placed on the map. A Chest is a virtual element assigned to a place in the real world and can be obtained in line with the game mechanics.
  2. Chests cannot be bought for money, sped up for money, bought for DC or obtained through a Premium subscription, unless the App states otherwise in separate terms compliant with the law. The primary way to obtain a Chest is to carry out activity in the game.
  3. Chests may have rarity levels visible before they are obtained. The content of a Chest may depend on the rarity level and may include points, DC, badges or cosmetic items.
  4. Chests, DC and virtual items are not money, a payment instrument, a property right, a voucher, electronic money, a financial service or a monetary prize. They cannot be exchanged for money, claimed as a payout, sold outside the App or transferred to another person, unless the Service Provider expressly makes such a feature available under terms compliant with the law.
  5. DC may be used solely within the App, in particular to obtain cosmetic items or other virtual elements, where such a feature is available.
  6. Virtual items are cosmetic or gameplay related and should not give an advantage in the competition for Territory, unless the App expressly describes a different type of feature in the terms relevant for that feature.
  7. If an Account is deleted, permanently blocked or a given feature is discontinued, DC and virtual items may cease to be available, unless mandatory provisions of law state otherwise or separate terms of a paid feature grant the user other rights.

§ 10. Leaderboards, virtual rewards and results

  1. The App may run individual leaderboards, a zone leaderboard, an aggregate leaderboard, periodic leaderboards, achievement summaries and other forms of comparing user results.
  2. A leaderboard may take into account points, distance, activity in Districts Zones, captured Territories, level, badges, titles, captures, rematches, timed events or other parameters indicated in the App.
  3. Leaderboards may be reset, closed, archived or counted in the periods visible in the App. The Service Provider may correct leaderboards if it detects an error, abuse, an invalid Session, a duplicate, bot activity, GPS spoofing, vehicle activity or another breach of these Terms.
  4. Rewards in the core gameplay are solely virtual, unless separate terms of a contest, event or campaign state otherwise. Virtual rewards have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  5. Programmes with monetary, material, school, charity, partner or promotional prizes will be organised solely on the basis of separate rules, an annex or campaign terms that will set out the participants, conditions, prizes, taxes, complaints and liability.

§ 11. Referral links, referral codes and partner campaigns

  1. The App or the Website may allow users, partners or event organisers to use referral links, referral codes, dedicated campaign subpages, promotional leaderboards and other tools for inviting new users to Districts.
  2. The referral programme works on one level. This means that a user can generate their own link or code and pass it to other people, but further referrals made by referred people do not create additional settlement levels, unless separate terms of a given campaign state otherwise.
  3. The referring user receives 10 DC for each active referred user, and the referred user receives 50 DC, provided that the account was created or linked with a referral link or code in line with the App mechanics, and the referred user met the activity condition set out in the App, on the Website or in the rules of a given campaign.
  4. An active referred user is a user who created an Account using a valid referral link or code and carried out a real, correctly recorded activity in the App, or met another condition indicated in the rules of the referral programme or a partner campaign. Fictitious accounts, duplicates, accounts created in breach of the one Account rule, inactive accounts, accounts created solely to obtain a bonus, and accounts linked to abuse do not qualify for a bonus.
  5. DC awarded in the referral programme is solely virtual, works only in the App, does not constitute monetary remuneration, a commission, a monetary prize or a property right, and is not subject to payout, sale, exchange for money or transfer to another person.
  6. Information about a possible future percentage bonus after monetisation is introduced, including the possibility of granting the referring user 10% of the activity of referred people, is an announcement of a feature and does not constitute an offer, a promise of payment or a basis for a user claim. Such a model may be launched solely after separate programme rules, campaign terms or a separate agreement are published, setting out the method of calculating the bonus, the period of accrual, the settlement basis, limitations, taxes and the conditions of payout or of granting a virtual benefit.
  7. The Service Provider may create dedicated links, codes and subpages for partners, clubs, events, sports communities, promotional campaigns or contests. Such a subpage may present a public leaderboard of participants, in particular the user's nickname, the number of kilometres, the result, the leaderboard position, the campaign name, its duration and information about prizes, if the user joined a given campaign or uses a feature covered by the leaderboard.
  8. Contests, competitions with material or monetary prizes, partner events, promotional campaigns and leaderboards run on separate Districts subpages may require separate terms. In that case the campaign terms supplement these Terms and, in case of conflict, prevail as regards that specific campaign.
  9. It is prohibited to abuse referral links or codes, in particular to create multiple Accounts, use other people's data, automate registration, send spam, publish misleading content, suggest non-existent prizes, use links in a way that breaches the terms of external services, or take actions contrary to the law, good practice or the rules of fair competition.
  10. The Service Provider may refuse to grant a bonus, withhold it, withdraw DC, exclude a user from the referral programme or a partner campaign, remove a result from a leaderboard, suspend an Account or apply other measures provided for in these Terms, where it finds an error, abuse, a breach of these Terms, action contrary to the purpose of the programme or an attempt to circumvent the rules.
  11. Partners and people sharing referral links do not receive access to email addresses, location data, raw GPS routes, health data or other private user data, unless a separate consent of the user, the campaign terms or the law provide otherwise. The Service Provider may share aggregate or statistical data on campaign effectiveness with partners, provided that it does not allow the identification of a specific user.

§ 12. Social features, messages and Peptalk

The App may allow following other users, viewing public profiles, sending messages, using the Peptalk feature, blocking users, reporting breaches and other social features.

If the Peptalk feature is available, its scope may depend on the relation between users. Between users who are not friends the Service Provider may limit communication to ready phrases, and between friends it may allow a wider scope of communication, including text or voice messages, if the feature has been launched.

The Service Provider may limit the number of messages, the frequency of sending them, the scope of content, the list of recipients, the ability to contact minors, the ability to make contact during an active Session or other parameters of the feature for reasons of safety, abuse prevention or user comfort.

Users should exercise caution when communicating with other people and should not disclose contact details, home address, financial data, health data or other information whose disclosure may harm privacy or safety.

Users can report breaches, harassment, offensive messages, vulgar nicknames, inappropriate territory names, impersonation, spam or other conduct that breaches these Terms at contact@districts.pl or through the reporting feature, where available.

§ 13. User Content and licence

  1. The user may create or provide User Content solely within the features made available in the App or on the Website.
  2. The user declares that they hold the rights to the User Content or that they are entitled to provide it to the Service Provider, and that the User Content does not infringe the law, the rights of third parties, personal rights, copyright, trade marks, privacy, image rights or these Terms.
  3. To the extent necessary for the App to work, the user grants the Service Provider a non-exclusive, free of charge, territorially unlimited licence to record, reproduce, store, display, make publicly available, transmit, technically modify, moderate, anonymise and delete User Content within the App, the Website, support, security and the enforcement of these Terms.
  4. The licence is granted for the duration of use of the App and for the time necessary to secure claims, perform legal obligations, handle reports, keep backups and preserve the integrity of the shared map, leaderboards, conversations or game history.
  5. The user acknowledges that public content, such as a nickname, a Territory name, a leaderboard position, an avatar or a profile, may be visible to other users and may be remembered or recorded by them outside the Service Provider's control.
  6. The Service Provider does not acquire ownership rights to User Content, except for the rights arising from the licence set out in these Terms or from a separate agreement.

§ 14. Prohibited content and prohibited conduct

  1. It is prohibited to use the App in a way that is contrary to the law, these Terms, good practice, safety rules, the rights of other people or the purpose of the App.
  2. It is prohibited to publish or send content that is unlawful, vulgar, offensive, harassing, discriminatory, inciting violence, or infringing personal rights, privacy, image rights, copyright, trade marks, trade secrets or other rights of third parties.
  3. It is prohibited to impersonate another person, the Service Provider, a partner, an institution, a moderator or another user.
  4. It is prohibited to cheat in the game, in particular to spoof the GPS location, use mock location, record a route taken by vehicle as walking or cycling activity, manipulate sensors, use emulators, rooted or modified devices to circumvent safeguards, use exploits, bots, scripts, automation, multiple Accounts or other people's Accounts.
  5. It is prohibited to disrupt the operation of the App, circumvent safeguards, probe or scan the system, gain unauthorised access to the API, reverse engineer to the extent prohibited by law, scrape data, mass download the map, run load tests without consent, distribute malware, phish or take actions that endanger the infrastructure.
  6. It is prohibited to sell, buy, lend, lease, share or transfer an Account, DC, Chests, virtual items, results, Territories or other game elements outside the mechanics permitted by the Service Provider.
  7. It is prohibited to abuse the reporting system, to submit manifestly unfounded or mass reports, to report content in order to harass other users or to obstruct the work of support.
  8. It is prohibited to use referral links, referral codes, campaign subpages or promotional leaderboards in a way that breaches these Terms, is misleading, spam like, automated or apparent only, or that leads to an artificial increase in the number of referrals, kilometres or results.

§ 15. Physical safety and responsible use of location

  1. The App requires activity in the real world. The user uses the App at their own risk as regards the choice of route, pace, place of activity, time of activity, way of moving and assessment of terrain conditions.
  2. The user should comply with the law, road traffic rules, venue regulations, signs, instructions of public services, entry bans and the rules for using parks, private land and public space.
  3. It is prohibited to use the App in a way that endangers life, health, road traffic safety, property, public order or the rights of other people.
  4. The App should not be used while driving a vehicle, crossing a road, riding in places requiring particular attention, or in situations where looking at the screen or operating the phone may be dangerous.
  5. Displaying a Territory, a Chest, a Zone, the Mayor, a point on the map or another game element does not mean that the user should enter a given place or that they have the right to enter it. If reaching a game element would require breaking the law, entering private land, or entering a closed, risky or inaccessible place, the user should give up the activity in that place.
  6. The App is not a medical device, medical advice, a training programme or a diagnostic tool. Activity statistics, estimated calories, distance, steps and other data are indicative and for entertainment.
  7. The user should adjust activity to their state of health, age, fitness and external conditions. In case of health doubts they should consult the activity with a doctor or give it up.

§ 16. Anti-cheat, validation and gameplay sanctions

  1. In order to maintain fair gameplay the App may analyse GPS data, motion data, steps, speed, measurement accuracy, technical signals, device information, anomalies, root, jailbreak, VPN, activity patterns and other anti-cheat data described in the Privacy policy.
  2. The system may automatically flag a Session for review, withhold the award of a result, reject a Session that does not meet the technical rules, correct a result, remove undue points, revoke a Territory or block the use of a feature, where required by the game mechanics or gameplay safety.
  3. A permanent Account block or Account deletion for abuse should not be imposed solely on the basis of automated classification, without the possibility of a review or contact with the user, unless immediate action is necessary for safety, the law or the protection of other people.
  4. The Service Provider may apply a warning, a temporary limitation of content visibility, a temporary feature block, a temporary Account block, a permanent Account block, Account deletion, withdrawal of a nickname, removal of content, correction of a result, revocation of Territories, withdrawal of DC or removal of virtual items, where the user breaches these Terms.
  5. When choosing a sanction the Service Provider may take into account the type of breach, its gravity, whether it is repeated, its impact on other users, the user's intent, the Account history, the scale of the benefit, the possibility of remedying the effects and the need to protect fair gameplay.
  6. The Service Provider does not disclose detailed detection thresholds, anti-cheat algorithms or safeguard parameters where that could make it easier to circumvent safeguards or could harm the security of the App.
  7. The user may ask for a review of a decision concerning a Session, a result, a block or a sanction by contacting the Service Provider at contact@districts.pl.

§ 17. Moderation, reporting breaches and appeals

  1. The Service Provider may moderate User Content, in particular nicknames, Territory names, messages, reports, profiles, public content and support attachments.
  2. A report of a breach can be sent to contact@districts.pl or through the reporting feature in the App, where available. The report should indicate the content, the user or the situation it concerns, describe the reason for the report and contain information that allows the Service Provider to identify the problem.
  3. The Service Provider may remove or hide content, limit its visibility, warn the user, block a feature, suspend an Account or take other proportionate action, where the content or conduct breaches these Terms, the law, the rights of third parties, user safety or the rules of fair gameplay.
  4. In cases requiring a fast response the Service Provider may act without first hearing the user, in particular where this is needed to protect minors, safety, privacy, the infrastructure, the rights of other people or to perform a legal obligation.
  5. A user whose content has been removed, whose Account has been restricted or who is subject to another moderation decision may appeal at contact@districts.pl. The appeal should indicate the decision it concerns and the user's position.
  6. The Service Provider examines appeals within a reasonable time, taking into account the scale of the activity, the nature of the matter and the need to protect other users. The reply may be sent to the email address assigned to the Account or to the address from which the report was submitted.
  7. Reports and appeals must not be abused. Repeatedly submitting manifestly unfounded reports, automated reports, reports made in bad faith or reports intended to harass other people may result in limiting access to the reporting system.

§ 18. Service availability, errors and changes in the game

  1. The Service Provider makes efforts to keep the App stable, but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error free or constant availability of all features.
  2. The App may be temporarily unavailable because of technical work, updates, failures, overload, errors of external providers, the operation of operating systems, internet problems, random events or other causes beyond the Service Provider's control.
  3. The Service Provider may fix errors, correct results, reconstruct data, withdraw points awarded without basis, remove duplicates, restore a fair game state or change the calculation rules, where this is necessary to fix an error, protect fair gameplay or prevent abuse.
  4. Changes to mechanics, scoring, leaderboards, thresholds, virtual rewards, the availability of Chests, the appearance of the map, social features or other game elements may be introduced in order to develop the App, improve balance, safety, stability, compliance with the law or the fit with user needs.
  5. If a change materially affects the user's rights under these Terms, the Service Provider will inform about it in the App, on the Website, by email or in another effective way, unless the change is favourable, technical, minor, required by law or necessary for safety reasons.

§ 19. Account deletion, termination and inactive accounts

  1. The user may delete the Account at any time in the App, through https://districts.pl/delete-account or by contacting contact@districts.pl, in line with the Privacy policy.
  2. Deleting the Account ends the use of the services assigned to the Account. After the Account is deleted the user loses access to the profile, Territories, DC, virtual items, leaderboards, Account history and features linked to the Account, unless the law or separate terms state otherwise.
  3. After the Account is deleted, the Territories gained by the user may be removed from the map, marked as unowned, anonymised or processed in another way needed to preserve the integrity of the shared map, leaderboards and game history.
  4. The Service Provider may delete or restrict an Account that has been inactive for a longer time, where this is justified technically, by security, by data minimisation, by the integrity of the map or by the development of the App. Where possible and justified, the Service Provider will inform the user before deleting the Account.
  5. The Service Provider may terminate the agreement on the use of the App or delete the Account with immediate effect in the event of a gross breach of these Terms, the law, safety, the rights of other people, abuse, fraud, circumvention of a block, technical actions that endanger the App or other important reasons.
  6. Removing the App from a device is not the same as deleting the Account. To delete the Account and the data, use one of the paths indicated in these Terms and the Privacy policy.

§ 20. Complaints and contact with support

  1. The user may report technical problems, complaints about the operation of the App, objections concerning a Session, a result, a Territory, a leaderboard, content, an Account or another element of the service to contact@districts.pl or through the support feature, where available.
  2. The report should contain the email address linked to the Account or another identifier allowing the matter to be verified, a description of the problem, the date and approximate time of the event, the device, the operating system, the App version and, where possible, a screenshot or other information helpful in clarifying the matter.
  3. The Service Provider replies to a complaint without undue delay, no later than within 14 days of receiving it, unless the nature of the matter requires longer technical analysis or the user has not provided the information necessary to examine the report. In that case the Service Provider will inform the user of the need to supplement the report or of the extended analysis.
  4. A lack of reply within the time indicated in these Terms does not mean that the request is automatically accepted, unless mandatory provisions of law state otherwise.
  5. The Service Provider may refuse to uphold a complaint where the problem results from a breach of these Terms, missing required permissions, the operation of the operating system, an interrupted internet connection, GPS errors, the App being switched off, battery saving, interference with the device, location spoofing, use of a vehicle or other circumstances beyond the Service Provider's control.
  6. These Terms do not limit the rights of a user who is a consumer arising from mandatory provisions of law, including provisions on the conformity of digital services with the contract, where they apply.

§ 21. Personal data and privacy

  1. The rules for processing personal data, location data, motion data, fitness data, diagnostic data, anti-cheat data, publicly visible data, data retention and Account deletion are set out in the Privacy policy.
  2. The Privacy policy is available in the App and at https://districts.pl/privacy.
  3. The user should read the Privacy policy before creating an Account and starting to use the App, in particular because Districts is a location based game and processes precise location during an active Session.
  4. Requests concerning personal data, including access, a copy, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, can be sent to contact@districts.pl.

§ 22. Intellectual property rights and the licence to the App

  1. The App, the Website, the Districts name, the logo, the marks, the interface, the layout, the mechanics, texts, graphics, the database, the code, map elements, virtual elements, feature profiles, the scoring system and other elements are subject to the rights of the Service Provider or its providers, unless expressly indicated otherwise.
  2. The Service Provider grants the user a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App solely for personal use of Districts in line with these Terms on a compatible device.
  3. The licence does not include the right to copy, distribute, modify, resell, share, decompile, create derivative works, circumvent safeguards, use commercially or use the App in a way contrary to these Terms or the law.
  4. The user must not remove copyright notices, trade marks, licence information or other legal markings present in the App, on the Website or in Districts materials.
